All over the world, financial institutions like banks have seemingly begun to be a necessity. Basic monetary transactions often times require the use of a bank or a bank account. But this isn't always the case; Sometimes, it's hard to get that bank account when  you're credit history isn't perfect. How to go about this then, you may ask?

Well, banks do offer a solution - Basic Bank Accounts. Basic Bank Accounts are accounts offered to those who have an imperfect credit history. Often, they are used to accept a person's salary and or arrange auto-debit payments. They most of the time come with ATM cards to allow withdrawals in hundreds of tellers.

Unlike credit cards, basic bank accounts don't allow you to buy in credit. However, some banks offer a "Visa Electron" or "Solo" debit card feature that gives you the ability to pay using your ATM card  in thousands of shops, through the phone, or via the internet.
